Race for The Cure

Katie, Me, Melissa

Another 5k under my belt today. And it was a tough one. Nothing but hills the entire route. My legs are like jello.

It was the Susan G. Komen Race for The Cure at Atlantic Station.

With 17,000+ people, it was a pretty amazing site to see.

The beginning was rough with shoulder to shoulder people, but a few minutes in, Katie and I were able to set a nice stride. If it wouldn't have been for that slow start, I probably would've improved my time by a few minutes, but oh well. It was a good cause and a good time. After being up since 5 am, I'm ready to crash.

And I'm still planning on that half marathon at Disney in February. Better start running more than three miles at a time. Yikes.
