Yesterday I drove into Kennesaw to see Alice in Wonderland with Cassie, Katie and Sean in IMAX. In short, this movie was everything I dreamed it would be. And then some. I don't even know how to describe it. I'm not sure you can describe Tim Burton's work. Or Johnny Depp's. Or Helena Bonham Carter's. You have to see it. Describing it just doesn't give it justice. These three are brilliantly talented on their own. And when they come together, it's unlike anything you've ever seen. I was excited when I first heard Burton was making this film. Then I was even more excited when I saw the first pictures of the characters. Brilliant. And then came the clips. Then, when I thought I couldn't get any more excited, I saw Burton's exhibit at MoMA in NYC. And then, I couldn't contain my excitement. March 5th couldn't get here fast enough.
And I'm going to leave it at that. Really, there isn't a bad thing I can say about this movie. You have got to see it for yourself.
